Hosea Loved God More Than Himself
The Prophet Hosea saw the idolatry, coveting, and sexual promisquity going on in Israel at that time, and fearing for his people cried out to God for His mercy!
God saw Hosea's heart was pure before Him, so asked him to live out prophetically through his own personal pain the Heart of God for His adulterous wife Israel.
Hosea must have been surprized after hearing what God was asking him to do, marry a prostitute by the name of Gomer. Gomer represented Israel who had gone astray by whoring after other gods. This was a strange request, but Hosea obeyed God none the less. It wasn't long after their marriage and the birth of their first child, a son, whom God named Jezreel; that Gomer true to her nature went a whoring and managed to concieve two more children during this time casting doubt on who was their father. This must have been very hard on a man like Hosea, and very embarassing to say the least. Hosea was forced to rebuke his wife for her adulterous ways when this became public, and in so doing God spoke to the house of Judah,
"Rebuke your mother, ( Israel ) rebuke her, for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband. Let her remove the adulterous look from her face, and the unfaithfulness from between her breasts otherwise I will strip her naked and make her as bare as on the day she was born."
Hosea empowered by God to love his wife despite her immorality, wept openly when she left him, and her three young children after Hosea' s public rebuke to the house of Israel. His heart was desperately and truly broken. Rumors run rampant, many suspecting Gomer's children were conceived in sin. Gomer was probably more than glad to leave being tied down with a bunch of kids didn't particularly excite her as an attractive life style. People were eager to report any gossip they heard about Gomer, how she sought after men who would buy her luxuries she could ill afford. Hosea's wounds went deep, and every night his pillow became saturated with his many tears for his wife, his children, and for Israel.
Gomer went into a world filled with corruption and violence, lying, and stealing, and the worship of other gods were the norm. She thought it was a lot more fun, and certainly more lucrative. She didn't give a thought to those she left behind, having hardened her heart to their cries, she went seeking her own happiness at their expense.

Many of us in the church today are AWAKENING to this fact that, this same spirit of self gratification has permeated into the body of Christ. We would have to be blind not to see the damaging long term effects this selfish lifestyle of ours is having on Jesus Holy Name, the body of Christ, and on the next generation.
Everyone is being affected by this new culture called "divorce and remarriage". This covenant breaking lifestyle has not only become apparent in the last 40 years , but it is now being flaunted even in our churches. Where is our fear of the Lord!!!
Covenant breaking is Satan's scheme he designed to destroy the image of God's faithfulness not only to our to our children, but to the world. The church has lost the true understanding of what God's Covenant of love is all about. Hosea said God's people would be destroyed for lack of knowledge. The church I'm sorry to say has lost the understanding of faithfulness in the sight of unfaithfulness. This kind of love is not natural, it is supernatural. You really need God' heart to walk in this kind of love today.
True love is an action not a feeling, it means laying down your selffish desires, so that you can live for others, this kind of love produces miracles.
We need to know that God is able to reconcile and restore whole families back to himself once we repent of our wicked ways, and humble ourselves before Him. Many who say they love Jesus are really enemies to the cross of Christ they say "No, I don't wont pick up this cross it is too heavy, this way is too narrow and too hard. It requires long suffering, and the cost is too great. "I can't do it" they say. Of course you can't do it, you need God's help to do it!
I believe that many are not willing to go the distance required of them in their marriages today because they see themselves as grasshoppers having lost their faith in a powerful God, they don't seem to understand that when they accepted Christ as their Saviour they entered into a Blood Covenant arrangement with the Lord God Almighty not the mail man down the street.
In desperation we need to cry out to the Lord for His mercy! We are like dumb sheep who have gone astray, we've hardened our hearts to God's way of doing things because of our stinky thinking and have adopted the ways of the world instead.
Father, forgive us for we don't know what we are doing any more, especially about Your image of faithfulness to our children! We have messed around with Your laws, and have moved Your boundery stones. Did we think You wouldn't noticed?
Teach us again about Your Eternal Covenant ways!!!
Gomer found sin fun for a while, but she soon found there was a heavy price to pay for separating herself from God's eternal ways. The price was spirital dealth to her body, mind, soul and spirit. If we are wise we will acknowledge our wrong doing, and turn away from this sinful practice before God has to come and deal with us corporately like He did with Israel.
God's will freely forgive us once we genuinely repent, because He is faithful even to those who are unfaithful. His blood is strong enough to wash us clean and restore us back into right standing with Him again, so we can begin anew. That's His nature, His very character, but He will not be mocked, His love is devastating, it will bring us to our knees.
Repentance is the only way back. As Gentiles we are free to receive this new and better covenant that the God of Abraham made for all mankind, because it came through the blood of His Son, Yeshua the final sacrificial lamb. It was never meant for the Hebrews only. Anyone who calls on the name of "Yeshua/Jesus", will be saved and grafted in with the Hebrews as God's chosen people.
All they have to do is humble themselves in gratitude for God's unfailing covenant of love, which is nothing like man's and accept His promise that He will never leave us or forsake us. We belong to Him eternally. This promise made first to Israel, now because of Yeshua belongs to us all.
Words of rebuke through the prophet Hosea to the house of Israel, was not all God had to say. Hosea went on to prophesy about Israel's redemption and restoration, if they would return to the Lord, but instead of listening and taking heart to what Hosea was saying, Judah ignored God's warning and they too became embroiled in temple worship that was promoting explicit sexual acts unto other gods, even to the point of sacrificing their children on the altar's of Molech. Like many of us are doing today by this practice of divorce and remarriage. We are in essence putting our children through the fire, offering them up as a sacrifice, hoping to prosper at their expense.
God's heart is truly broken over this, for He never meant for this to happen!
Jeremiah 3:8 adds, "And I saw, when for all their causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorcement; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, went and played the harlot also."
These Prophetic Words of Rebuke still ring true today to all backsliders. The bible tells us of how Gomer was brought low in humility, striped naked, and sold as a sex slave to anyone that would have her. Then when all was lost God told Hosea to go get her back, and love her again. Which Hosea did, he paid the slave price then told her she would be living with him again, but this time there would be no more whoring around. He was not only her husband, he now owned her body and soul. God wants Israel to know this, and the church too that He paid a heavy price for us, we now belong to Him body and soul, we are not are own. God is able to not only restore relationships that have been completely destroyed by sexual sin, but He is able to restore whole Nations that have gone astray. Yeshua's Blood Sacrifice is powerful enought to redeem all who are lost, even His church and the nation of Israel. God said He is our husband, He is married to us faithless, backsliding people. He will not let go of us because like the Hebrews we belong to Him forever. He is a jealous God who will not be mocked by any one especially His own people.

God's personal relationship with Israel is being brought back into focus again today like never before, because He made a promised to Israel, that He would restore her back to Himself again forever. God Himself will remove the veil off her eyes, and cause her to look upon the very one that was pierced and in weeping they will turn back to the God of Abraham through the power of the Holy Spirit, Yeshua's resurrection gift to Israel activated by His Atoning Blood Sacrifice of Unconditional Love she didn't earn or deserve!
"Many of the Hebrew people are now recognising who Yeshua is, He is their brother, whom they rejected, but now gladly accept Him.
It's being reported that some Jewish Rabbi's, are now finally getting this revelation of who their own Torah scriptures are talking about, and are now turning their hearts to Yeshua, and calling Him Lord!

God is lifting the veil off many eastern eyes today and they are responding to Yeshua's love like never before, even descendants of Ishmael's, the Muslims, and descendants of Esau's people, the Arab's. Abraham was Ishmael's father through Hagar, and Abraham was grandfather to Isaac's son Esau. This makes Yeshua their brother as well.

Sad to say but our western society is much like Israel was back in Hosea's day. Covenant breaking has become almost fashionable today. This worldly concept has permiated itself even into the body of Christ. We are being encouraged to abandon our spouses who resemble Gomer, instead of laying down our lives like Hosea did and fight for her in prayer and deed, like Jesus did for us. By chosing the ways of the world instead we think we are wise. We listen to and even seek out those in authority who tickle our ears with doctorine we want to hear, rather than inquire of the Lord, asking Him for strategy that would bring glory and honour to His holy name, and protection to our children when our marriages come under attack and our spouse are taken captive by the enemy through deception. When a person is deceived they can no longer discern the truth for themselves, and they desperately need someone crying out to the Lord on their behalf to come rescue them.
I believe we are given a choice when we stand at a cross road, we can call upon God for His mercy and live like Hosea did for the Kingdom for the Lord's sake, our nation's sake, and our children and grandchildren's sake, or we can live for ourselves at everyones expence.
One is a narrow road, and ancient path, the other is a wide paved road bent on destruction.
The question is which road will we choose?
Jeremiah 8:8. . . How can you say, "We are wise, for we have the law of the Lord," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely? The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of the Lord, what kind of wisdom do they have? Therefore I will give their wives & husbands to other men & women and their fields to new owners. From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit. They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. "Peace," "Peace" they say when there is no peace. Are they ashamed of their loathsome conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush. So they will be brought down when they are punished says the Lord. . .
God says look and see, I've made a way where their seams to be no way. Look and ask for this Ancient Path when your at a cross roads and don't know which way to go. On this Path you will find My Covenant Promises waiting for to you, and there you will find rest for your very soul.
Many have said, "No!" We don't want to go on this Path, because it costs too much.
Yes! it'll cost you everything, but the rewards are great, and generations will be blessed by your walk on this Path of faith, and God will not only be pleased, but will be glorified!
Because the cost is great, many are not yet ready to pay this kind of price, but some are, this allows God's image to change the hearts and minds of others back to His ways again. The Lord is forever interceding on our behalf because He loves us with an everlasting love. Thank God He is not like man. He desires to keep His promises He made to us. Jeremiah 6:16-30
Like Hosea, we know full well the pain he experienced because we too have been abandoned by our covenant mates, we too Cried out to God for His mercy like Hosea did, and asked God for His help in taking back the revelation Satan stole from us, and the Church. At first we just thought of ourselves because we were hurting so much, but then as we began to see the damage sepatation and divorce was doing not only to our children, but too the body of Christ as well, and how this was defiling Jesus Holy Name, we realized it was time we made a decision to stand for Christ's Holy Name's Sake because He is so worthy.
We know that He is the one who turned our heart's back towards our children, so we can't boast. He is the one who will get all the glory because we know only too well how far we had fallen.
Our families, our cities, and our nations are all suffering because so many of us have deliberately violated God's Word by taking apart our Marriage Covenants. God calls our marriages to be Holy and Sacred, but we have made them common like the world has. God said we were not to do that!!!
The consequences of our sin has brought spiritual and physical death to so any. We pray the church will urgently repent of this while there still is time. Many of us are even now questioning as to how this foolishness is still allowed to go on in light of the sexual epidemic that has hit the church in the last 40 years. Are we too blind to see!
Lord, many are partaking of Your bread and wine in ignorance, no longer able to descern or understand the power that backs us up in our 'one flesh' covenant relationship in Christ, for this very reason so many are weak and sick among us.
Jesus said, "So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." (emphasis mine) Matthew 19:6
'Marriage' and the 'Church' are both 'one-flesh' entities, both belong to God. They are 'God made institutions'. Both of these 'Entities' are in so much trouble today because they've rejected the knowledge of God and listened to false teachings that actually 'sanctify' adultery, when we call them remarriages; and the consequences of this sin is seen by everyone, especially those who practice homosexuality. We've not been salt and light only because we look too much like the world. We're called to be different, set apart from the world, to live our lives pleasing to the Lord! But sadly we've hardened our hearts, and live to please ourselves instead, having lost our salty flavour no longer worthy of being called Christians.
We are told to love our neighbours, God warned we are not to covet their wives, or husbands, so if we don't know how to love our own wives and children, or our neighbours properly whom we do know, how then are we going to love our enemies?
We are guilty Lord, we've turned Your house of prayer into a house of prostitution! A place where Gomer would feel right at home. A place where she could easily find someone to take her in, and love her as the world does. We've lost the revelation knowledge and understand of what Covenant love really is, therefore we've become strangers again to the. .
Covenant Promises of God!
We come humbly before You Lord! To speak with You about this matter. We aught to be ashamed of ourselves like You said, but we don't even blush.
Satan loves to use those who call themselves 'Christ followers', but are not, they are really tares that will not bow and Satan uses them to defile Your Holy name, Lord!
O God please forgive them and turn their hearts back to You, because so many have hardening their hearts against Your eternal ways, and are blindly following another path that only leads them back into the world again.
They sacrifice their children and grandchildren on the altars of Molech for freedoms sake, putting them through the fire just so they can find happiness in the arms of someone new. Lord we have caused much, much pain and confusion in the Body of Christ by our actions. Lord have mercy and help those in authority who have turned a blind eye like Ahab did, by tolerating this rebellius spirit that's come into the body which allows Satan's diobolical plot to continue, even to their making excuses for it. This only leaves the door wide open for more of the same, open their blind eyes Lord so they can see, and repent of their wicked ways.
Why is it pastors don't know what to do with this self gratifying Jezabel generation we live in today? Is it because we have all learned to compromise so much, being afraid of man and what they will say, or do, if confronted. This fear of man is something we believe grieves Your very heart Lord!
Send us another Jehu, Lord one who will ride furiously through the church of the living God, and cast down that Jezebel spirit once and for all. The Ahab spirit only encourages these false teachings to function freely in our land. Lord we call on the God of Elijah, to empower us to come up against these controling political powers, they are like giants in our land that have put fear into Your people, Lord!

In fear and trembling we've come to inquire of You Lord. We want to convey Your heart and the heart of David in this matter; not to argue scripture, or to make a point, but to get a clear revelation of this Great Mystery You speak of in Ephesians 5 concerning. .
Jesus Christ, our Bridegroom, and His One flesh Bride, the Church
We want to know God, how Your one-flesh body is ever going to emulate Your Son, Jesus Christ and His faithfulness to His bride in light of all this covenant breaking that is going on in Your church today? Empower Your people Lord to love their spouses unconditionally like You do, and like Hosea did, while our Gomer's are sinning.
Corporately we have soiled our garments with the bloody violence we perpetrated against our own children, and Your Holy Name Lord. We are all dying through our lack of revelation knowledge, and this ignorance is keeping our leaders from standing up 'as one in Christ' against this diobolical plot of Satan's. Forgive us all Lord for we have all sinned and fallen short of Your glory!
Our children are cring out in helpless rage as they endure the destruction to their homes, and families. They watch us treat each other like the heathens do; instead of as You Lord intended for us to be seen by them: as Sacred, Holy, and Set Apart, so Your glory would be revealed through us to them, generationally!
Thank You Lord, for You have answered our prayers we are now beginning to see many in positions of authority who are waking up to this tragedy, and are no longer willing to sanctify these adulterous relationships anymore, they refuse to call them holy, when they are not!
Remarriage while the other still lives, is adultery pure and simple. We see those in authotity working corporately with others to bring and end to this covenant breaking lifestyle that we've grown accustom to. They saw the long term effect this was having on the Body of Christ, and our children, and watched it escalated into epidemic proportions in only 40 years. We all knew in our hearts, that this is not right!!!
It's time to do something about it!
This is why this web page was birthed, we must truely understand that Jesus/Yeshua is Lord, not us.
It was His Blood that ran upon the streets of Jerusalem on the way to Golgotha.
It's His Blood that still cries out for our repentance from our wicked ways, and cries out for us to pick up our cross and come follow Him and stand against the powers of darkness, not join up with them.
It's His Blood that is asking us to humble ourselves so we can raise us up to run and dance in our victory He won back for us; taking back our wives, our husbands, our son's, our daughter's, and our land through the power of His Holy Name!
Joshua, Caleb, and David considered God's power and were not afraid to go up against the giants in their land. Neither are we here at Hosea's Cry.
We believe that God will go before us and fight for us .That He is Able to Restore All Things back to Himself. All God needs from us is our obedience to stand in the gap for what is right, and holy, and pray on behalf of the body, in order to open the way for Him to come in and change men's hearts!
Today we have His resurrection power living within us, so there is nothing to hold us back, because God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind! 2 Timothy 1:7-8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the suffering for the gospel according to the power of God!
We at Hosea's Cry come speaking the truth in love. We realize It's Time we turned our hearts back to our children and do what is right for them for Christ's sake not ours.
We will watch the glory of the Lord turn their hearts back to us, and to their real Father in heaven before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes and destroys our land with us in it. We know what happened to the Jews when they rejected the power of Yeshua's Bood Sacrifice made on their behalf, a veil slid over their eyes! I believe Satan wants this to happen to us too. Don't let him lull you to sleep in your ignorence of who Yeshua really is, and the power of His Sacrifice. Let's cry out for God to fill our lamps with the oil of His 'break through anointing' before it is too late. Let's not be be foolish anymore!
Many things are going on in the Body of Christ today that have distorted God's image of power and faithfulness to us; and many of us are receiving what we believe to be truth from His very Church!
Please Father, help our leaders understand our heart in this matter, so they can repent for taking on that humanistic approach to Your gospel that diametrically opposes Jesus teachings taught to the early Church on the holy sacredness of marriage that is to be honoured by all. Hebrew 13:4-6
This distortion didn't happen over night but slowly over time corrupt teachings crept in along with the good teachings that came out of that great reformation era. Some of those in authority let their sympathy grow out of a false sence of
compassion for those suffering due to their rebellious evil ways, and tried to heal them superficially with these false teachings being taught to them in some of the Bible Seminaries after that great reformation. Some grabed hold of these lies out of ignorance, some out of fear of losing those rebelious people forever, and some just greedy for gain, their pews were almost empty, and they needed all the tithe they could get. Instead of speaking the truth in love to these rebelious people bring them to conviction, the fear of losing them made them not only compromise the Word of God into changing it's meaning to mean something entirely different. The fear of poverty held them captive, instead of the fear of the Lord's Truth, the Power that would set them all free!
We are called to decern the times we live in. I believe Mankind has entered into a time of open revolt against God and His divine moral foundation, thus fulfilling the Prophetic Word concerning the end times, that there would be a great falling away. . .an apostasy was to come.
"Let no man deceive you, for the day of the Lord will not come unless the apostasy comes first." 2 Thessalonians 2:3
Jesus came to comfort the afflicted, but He also came to afflict the comfortable, so get ready to have your comfort zones disturbed. We are in for a rough ride because the Lord is planning to wreak havoc on the very foundations man has laid on sifting sand, but in the end Christ followers will be thankful, and firmly established on His firm foundation that will never be moved. He will strengthen us for battle in the days ahead so we have nothing to fear. We will know our God is with us, we will know Him intimately!
Jesus said in the last days there would be a form of godliness, but they would deny the very power of God. 2Timothy 3:1-7
Lord, we pray that the world will see the beauty of Jesus unfailing love and that power demonstrated through us, Your church, in our homes, and in the market place real soon. Lord let the Truth of Your unfailing love be revealed not only to us, but to our children who are in desperate need to know just how much their Father in heaven really loves them too!
We pray Your Word comes through this web site peacefully, and gently, but with great conviction for such a time as this. Father we didn't come to pick up our sword against our brothers and sisters, or those in authority, we came to pick up Your Sword to pierce through the darkness that surrounds many of us in the church today.
Father, let the mystery of our "One-Flesh Blood Covenant" relationship with You be revealed to all of us so that we may come together in unity of understanding, especially in this area that causes our children, and You so much pain.
Thank You Father for hearing the cry of our heart.
Marriage is to be honoured by all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, " I will never leave you or forsake you." So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me." Hebrews 13:4-6
We live to bring Glory and Honour to Your Holy Name Lord, because of Your Blood Sacrifice that was poured out on our behalf! You are so worthy and we are so indebted to You!
Lord, help us all to Wake Up to this tragedy, and your unfailing love before it's to late!
